Touch is a minimal contact sport involving running20150428_182236, agility, passing and catching with rules similar to Rugby League. There are 14 players in a team, with 6 on the pitch at one time. Age group and mixed gender teams means it appeals to a wide range of ages, abilities and physiques. It is hugely popular here in Edinburgh with all levels catered for. Check out:

Edinburgh University Volleyball Club

We have 5 competitive teams (two men, three women) all competing in BUCS and Scottish National League, and two recreational mixed teams. We welcome players from novice towards international level. Each team has a qualified coach for the whole season and train once or twice per week. Besides volleyball and beach action on court, we organize social events for both alumni and students.

Trans Alba Race

The Trans Alba Race is a self-supported cycling ride around Scotland. Covering over 1,000 miles and 50,000 feet of climbing. Riders follow a predetermined route whilst abiding to a simple set of seven rules.

Sounds easy right? Well, self-supported means self supported, riders are responsible for all their navigation and logistics whilst remaining completely self reliant throughout the event. Simply – you’re on your own!

We are incredibly proud to help support the Trans Alba Race and our clinical manager Kenny Watt will be on hand at Race Registration to provide input to any riders in need. Post-race the entrants will be able to access our services for any issues picked during their unbelievable effort.
